1.7 Opt In 3 - Custom Starbases CTD (SOLVED)

Hello,

I have a Mod that adds Custom Starbases, I opted into the 1.7 beta Patch earlier today. I can build Starbases fine as you can see from the screenshot. Problem arises when I click on Sponser Settings, then game UI Flashes then get a CTD.

Error Log is here!

Those are nice star bases, are those Gauntlets? I am no help on the CTD. My solution such as it is, is to uninstall the mod, delete all the folders you installed it in...reverify your game files in steam and restart and see if it keeps happening.

For crashes that are related to Mods, i usually just pull the mod out till we get an 'official' release and then tell the mod maker about the crash.

Not my starbase in that screenshot fyi.

Is this an updated opt in? Has the opt in changed in the five days?

Yes it changed on 13th Gauntlet.

Its My unrealeased mod so im telling myself I guess :P , and the starbase is by John Grammaticus (Federation Starbase 365 off the workshop).

Everything else works just fine int he new starbase window, its just that Sponser Settings button. I'll do a play through now to see if the AI cause a CTD with other Custom Starbases included in the Mod, took a time out to watch London has Fallen.

Thanks for clarifying. I just tested with my own mod, which has custom starbases, and couldn't cause a crash via starbases and sponsoring and other menus/items for that matter.

So maybe its a way you edited your shipset file?  Weird though.

In that case requesting this post be moved to the Modding Subforum. (OH Can move it myself, what a cool feature)

I followed what you did in your Video after reading the Modding Guide post, over in the modding forum >:(

Offending files can be found on Dropbox. If any one can take a look and see if they can spot any errors it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit

After all that, it had nothing to do with my faction Files. Tracked it down to an old mod on here Starbases All Mine. Sigh. Teach me to take for granted certain mods I guess.

Edit 2

Or so I thought....A typo in ShipBluePrints.xml was more likely the culprit. An > instead of a < symbol on the Basic Constructor.
