Which beta?

Hey sorry if this has been covered, but i couldn't find it. I've been playing other games lately and thought I'd check back in on GCIII, especially because I know the starbase update is coming soon. When I went to check for betas I had 2: Preview 1.7 and vip_build. What is the vip_build and which one of these should I be playing?

According to Stardock a while back the vip_build shouldn't be there but, is.  It's an error of some sort and I believe is the 1.6 beta if I remember correctly.
