Want good is the Torian's birthing pool?

It costs the same as the hospital, onlt provide 15% growth +1 pop adjacency vs 100%/+2 of the hospital

Am i missing something?

I also had the same question during the beta. I was going it would replace the hospital and its upgrade line, with stronger bonuses...

Well, the hospital is unique per colony, so I guess the advantage is that you can have both a hospital and a birthing pool.

i noticed that also but it is not real good, hosp is 100% +2 pop +5% adjacency (i know you already know this) so the 15% +1 pop just doesn't stack up for a valuable tile spot.
