metaverse search idea

To search for someone in the meta  need to know who I am looking for and how to spell them.

could you add a way to search my friends list so less knowing and thus searches started faster.

This way when one starts a new multi they can friend those people and look up their stats easier.

If this takes off then make multiple search groups, not just friends.

Maybe even the ability to search all players in a group so one does not have to do each player individually.

Thanks for the suggestions! GalCiv3 is using your Steam or GOG friends list. We're working on sending friend invites from within the game. I agree that searching for your friends (with fuzzy matching) as the first results would be helpful.

 

One thing you can do until we get this implemented: Metaverse -> Ladders -> Overall, Overall, Friends. From there you can easily click on your friends' names to view their stats and "Ladders" again to go back.

Another option is to visit the Metaverse in your web browser. You could bookmark your friends from there.
