Negative treasury lies

So i started a new game, fairly recently

im less than an hour in

at somepoint, my treasury goes negative, because i decided to get a bit balsy with my spending

no big deal, next turn my 2 freighters that i bought had reached their destinations, and im making a tidy profit

wait, why are my planets not producing anything, or researching anything???

**checks income** ok its over 40 per turn, i only have 2 planets and its not even turn 50 yet, there is no way i should not be going back to normal

so there is my issue.  i loaded saves, didnt work.  i tried managing production manualy, worked, but only for 1 of the two categories at a time.  

what do i do?

Get your treasury back to positive.

Yes. If your treasure is negative all production and research stops. Everything is shifted to wealth production so that your treasury will return to positive. This is can result in a yo-yo effect if you don't balance your budget as as soon as you go to positive money, you are are again bleeding money which returns you to negative treasure.

I have the same problem. The difference is my treasury came back over 0 and is currently sitting at around 1400 for several turns. However, all the research options say N/A.  I exited the game and reloaded, no change.

Yes, do that. I can't recall whether the wheel reset back to where it was after it was shoved to the top bcuz you ran out of money. I thought it reset, but just reload and make sure if if you do reset and still have no production or research, post a screen shot here and/or send in a support ticket with the saved game.
