Custom Faction Help

Hi

The custom faction that i want to create has a few weird things that i want to do...

1. They start with 5 planets but cant colonize or capture planets using troop transports, influence or trade etc.

2. Is there a way to destroy a planet? I was thinking of Terror Stars like in GalCivII.

3. Shipyard can produce 2 ships at once. Only one shipyard at a time.

4. Can someone explain the positions of planets around a star?

Any help/advise would be appreciated

1. Most of this is possible but will require extensive modding on your part. Being unable to culture flip requires having zero influence, though, and you'll have to have a custom tech tree to get most of it working.

2. No.

3. No.

4. They're randomly distributed within several nonrandom rings.

There are already some examples of custom factions with custom home systems on the forums you could take a look at, and a few people have had help with the same, so check those to get started.

My custom system is already done i just wanted it to look better... So i cant destroy a planet, but there is a button to destroy one after you have colonized it. Can an event/trigger be used to make colonized/captured world dead?

There's an action that increases planet tiles (benevolent and malevolent trees), maybe changing it to -100 tiles on whatever your trigger is would result in a dead planet, but I doubt it.

Do you want to remove a planet from your custom system? Why do you want to destroy planets?

hahah i dont like the hassle of capturing a planet and having to manage it.

I don't want to remove planets from my home system... just everybody else :)

you could try to make an invasion-tactic that decreases PQ by 100%
