Well that 1.5 opt in is a bummer

I'm well into a current game on 1.41 and decided to do an hour tonight before bed and it did an update as i have the opt-in. Then it wouldn't launch and crashed steam. I restarted steam and the game will not launch until such time as it crashes steam.

You can OPT OUT but going into  your settings and unchecking the opt in and setting it to default.

Consider having Steam validate files for GalCiv3 as well. With Steam crashing it may have left the game in a bad state.

To be honest I just opted out so I could carry on playing because I've been having a great game and didn't want to stop
