[crash] Custom Race Portrait 1.41

Curious, is there a known bug with the leader portrait/background with custom races?  I was just trying to put one together and can't get rid of the human-dude as the leader picture.

 

There only appears to be the option to use your own custom image/vid instead of selecting between the Stardock ones.  Also if you click "done" in the customize window it appears to crash the game..?

Been building loads of custom races and copy/changes of the default ones too. No issues here on my end with crashes. Only thing i can suggest is making sure that you have your custom images in the correct size/format. Can also check to make sure that the 'my games' folder is accessible by the game in permissions.

No, it's just if you click 'done' without selecting anything..

I used to be able to pick the pre-made SD images , now only the vids show up..

The opt-in for the patch is up now if you want to check it out.  

To enable the patch, please do the following:

  • Select Galactic Civilization III in your Steam Library list
  • Right-click and select Properties
  • Select the BETAS tab
  • From the dropdown, select opt-in and click Close (if you don't see this option, restart Steam)
