I had this happen twice today where a faction I was at war with invaded and took over a planet of mine only for my friendly neighbor to actually become in control of it.
Of course now I can't invade to get it back without declaring war which I'd rather not do right now. Is this some intended behaviour or just a bug?
Was the planet in their (your friendly neighbor's) ZOI? If so this can happen
Hi it was just inside the border actually on my side though, literally on the dividing line. The second planet was next to that one but a few hexes inside as well. It shows my influence to be about 50%/48% in that area, one hex next to the planet but inside my zone is 48%/48% though.
Should this still be happening then?
How was it taken over? Just magically changed hands? Maybe it was traded or taken over without you noticing? Were the other two at war as well?
Hi it was invaded by a faction I was at war with. They attacked it, and then immediately after the 'DEFEAT' message the friendly neighbouring faction's flag was shown over it.
I watched the whole thing happen, it was a seamless transfer. It was as if the friendly had been the one invading themselves but they weren't.
They were 16 land 25 level Planets as well.
