Custom parts recover

My hard disk was broken and unfortunately I lost all my ships designs X(

Fortunately I had uploaded some on  the steam workshop, is there any remote possibility of recovering at least  the custom parts i've made on those downloaded ships?

No devs on this f*****g forum?!!? This game is still supported?! We have only to pay  an half game and DLC's adding rats??

If you redownload those ships, I think you can select the custom parts in the ship designer and then save them separately. I haven't actually tried to do that yet (not sure why, probably because my own designs are not that insipiring!), but I think that's how it works. If you ask nicely I'm sure someone else will help...

If you download the designs from the steam workshop, you should be able to recover the custom parts.  After reloading the ship design, you should select the part, ungroup it, reselect the subparts, and the export the selection as a new custom part.

I tried but it doesn't work, the ungroup button remains gray.

Please tell me there is another way, I've spent so much time and even if I redo all the parts would never be the same.

Can you submit a ticket (https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit) with the ship design files (my games/GalCiv3/Designs) and I'll take a look.
