Galactic Civilization III v1.3.2 Changelog

*** Release 10/1/2015 ***

Changes
+ Increased maximum multiplayer map size to Gigantic
+ Fixed a problem where peers were not updating their heartbeat while loading the map and thus causing a disconnect.
+ Fixed a problem where all of the players would choose "ready" but the host could not start the game.
+ Separated the networking and loading processing to different threads to prevent timeouts while starting the game.
+ Prevented a multiplayer disconnect issue caused by the player spending the Thalan's bonus tech points in the first turn.
+ Fixed a few stuck turn problems
+ Fixed a lobby crash when the faction data got out of sync.
+ Fixed weirdness in the lobby when restoring save games that would create extra player slots, potentially preventing the host from starting the game.
+ Fixed a problem where a peer would click ready, but the host would never get the message and could not start the game.
+ Addressed a disconnect problem with player ship data and different languages.
+ Addressed a problem where the game host would timeout when peers were joining the game.
+ Multiplayer games now display the language of the game's host
+ Restoring multiplayer games with players with different language settings no longer crash
+ If the game does not have permission to write to the "My Games" directory, the game provides information on how to address the problem instead of crashing.

Awesome! Thx for working on it!

 

Following this patch, in MP we had an issue where our turns were being completely played out for us as if we were AI.  Unit movement, all build queues, rallies, and even turn ended automatically. 

 

After recreating game a few times, it stopped happening.

 

Thank you for unlocking Gigantic!  Really looking forward to the others.

In the efforts of beta feedback - I want to say I've checked my beta settings for GalCiv3 and it's clearly set to NONE (Opt out for all beta programs).

My version number is 1.31.  Steam DID download a 5.8mb patch for GalCiv3 even though I am (and friend) set to NONE Opt out.

Even though 1.31, I can select Gigantic map...  I had no idea what the 5.8mb patch was so just tried the Gigantic size and it was opened up.

that latest opt-in patches are for MP bugs, if you want to play MP, I would suggest you and your friends opt-in to the latest patch.

this happened 3 or 4 times in a row for us - after pressing START in MP game lobby, my GC3 CTDed before showing the galaxy map.

after a few goes it came good.

cheers & noted - am running 1.32 for almost 24 hours now.

I reckon the AI can still trade technology in MP even though it's disabled from game options.  Example: The AI will initiate trade and offer technology for credits.  *could* be minor civs only.  Will have to pay more attention.

I cant update this patch as everytime I try it comesback with "Cant update due to disk error!"

Надеюсь мне кто нибудь ответит. После обновления GalCiv III с версии 1.3 на версию 1.3.2 у меня, произошел баг в игре а именно: при запуске игры, у меня отцуцтвует начальный трейлер за место него черный экран, после нескольких минут меня перебрасывает на основное меню где отцуцтвует фоновая музыка и нет аннимированой картинки вращающейся планеты и так всю игру. Не важно кампания, или обычная игра!!! При этом у моего компьютера винд 7 Максимальная,  процессор Intel 7 с частотой 3.9, Видео карта Nidia 960 Titan на 6 гиг, оперативка 16 гиг, драйвера обновлены до последнего и установлены последние кодеки!!! Прошу помочь!!!
