Life support Mega Event crash to desktop 1.3

Hi, had a crash to desktop when trying to select one of the options when the life support mega event happens.

tried this with both Benevolent and Malevolent and both crashed to desktop

In the saved game the event happens 2 turns from the turn the saved game is on.

some notes, I am playing against a custom faction with a custom forground picture, don't know if you will need this, if so can upload it as well.

and it is singleplayer game.

Nope no mods, custom race with the in game custom race creator with only a picture added
