A slight pause....

So I usually play dozens of hours in GCIII (per week). I love the game and have learned to love how it plays. I am going to pause gameplay a bit as I think we are going to have another change in how fundamental play is done with the next patch.

 

Hats off to Nasselus and Tetra for creating mods for the new governors. I think our Dev team is going to 'redo' (it-being the govenors/wheel) again as Paul made that comment near the beginning of our stream. 

 

In essence I did not want ot get another insane map started on the current Opt in features if its going to go through another iteration of play. This is not a "I am not playing because" thread but rather a pause to see what the final patch will be and what changes will be made if any.

Hope to see you soon.  In the mean time, maybe a few head to head or coop games in MP?

I'll continue my current game, but will keep checking on MP offerings in the lounge.  I don't join games where I don't know the host since I don't know if they'll ragequit on me mid game.

I am still here and very active. Its just I dont want to start a new game when the current OPT in we have is likely to completely change. I have not done any multiplayer. I am worried I would suck so bad that my crushing defeat would ruin my spirit. 

 

Send me a friend invite in steam and Ill try to get a game started with you. It would have to be in evenings though.

You got it.  We can go teams against the AI and you can see just how badly I suck at it too. :) 

 <edit> We might have to turn off the DLC or continue troubleshooting the CTD issue.  If you're willing to help, we can probably hand Stardock a fix on a silver platter.  It'll take some time and frustration, but I think they'll be appreciative of the effort. </edit>
