Been away for a bit, hoping some of the kinks would get worked out.
With 1.2, is there a way to download new (modded) ship sets? I see on the Steam Workshop that users can download individual ships, but what about a complete ship set? If not, any timeline for when this will be implemented? Thanks.
There are at least two mods that add full shipsets; neither are available yet through the workshop since Steam can't support those mods. The mods are avilabale through links here on the forums.
They are the Star Trek Federation Ships Mod(one very large set), and Gauntlet's Race Mod (which adds 11 sets I believe).
Ok, thanks for the info! Bummer to hear that this issue still hasn't been resolved with Steam though.
There is also a Romulan, Klingon, and Kilrathi shipstyle set that I know of, on Steam. You have to search for the races "\w shipstyle", and you will find a few, though you will need to manually install them in the mod folder right now. BTW, the Federation faction/shipstyle mod currently is not working, I hope TurielD is working on it when he has time.

My Caldari State faction mod also includes a complete ship set for that faction (or any other custom you choose to use it with).

If you follow the steps and create some of these very basic shipstyles you are able to even create better ship styles than these I posted above (from this skilled ship style god who accidently has my name :p)
