Game does not display multiple things

Hi,

the game doesn't display habitable planets (on map), the planets surface (on planet management screen), button backgrounds (i.e. research screen). Multiple screenshots below.

I reinstalled the game, verified the integrity of game cache and prayed to the flying spaghetti monster. Nothing fixed the problem yet.  :|

Having this same problem... was there a solution??

I verified the game files on steam and 5 files were missing ... they were reacquired and I started the game again but the problem persisted.  Verified the game files again and again 5 files were missing or corrupt, reacquired the files started game again and so on several times with various graphic settings - and other settings changed but always the same... after starting the game the 5 files were missing.  Confirmed the files were acquired by verifying BEFORE I started the game and AFTER I had started the game files were missing.

What version?  1.3 opt-in?

I've  never seen this myself, can't really help you.

The solutiuon was to change decimal settings on the computer.  If you live in a region where a comma is used for a decimal instead of a period you need to change that.

 

At least it worked for me.

Надеюсь мне кто нибудь ответит. После обновления GalCiv III с версии 1.3 на версию 1.3.2 у меня, произошел баг в игре а именно: при запуске игры, у меня отцуцтвует начальный трейлер за место него черный экран, после нескольких минут меня перебрасывает на основное меню где отцуцтвует фоновая музыка и нет аннимированой картинки вращающейся планеты и так всю игру. Не важно кампания, или обычная игра!!! При этом у моего компьютера винд 7 Максимальная,  процессор Intel 7 с частотой 3.9, Видео карта Nidia 960 Titan на 6 гиг, оперативка 16 гиг, драйвера обновлены до последнего и установлены последние кодеки!!! Прошу помочь!!!
