Multiplayer & DLC/Expansions

Since I have the founders pack and my friend doesn't, nor does he have the money to be able to spend on DLCs/Expansions very often, how will multiplayer with us work? If I host a game will he be able to use all the DLCs/Expansions I have, or will only I be able to use them, or will neither of us be able to?

From what the devs said DLC availability in multiplayer is based on who hosts the game. So if you host the game all players in that game will have access to DLC content.
