Stardock! Fix the issue I have been complaining about since alpha. PLEASE!

I have been complaining about this mini map since I started playing in Alpha. Stardock will NOT address this issue. The game is unplayable like this. WTF. In the past I have tried to give constructive critisism and be polite, to no avail. They would rather make a map editor than fix the current game. Now I am just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off. What is the point of zoom out and zoom in on the mini map if it just snaps right back into place everytime a unit moves or you end your turn? I can't see 80% of my empire in the mini map so it is completely pointless. God I am raging so hard. I wish they would just fix this already. If someone knows of a fix, PLEASE let me know. I am so sick of this!

I bought two copies of this game for $100 each because I love the series so much (One for a friend). But I literally cannot play the game like this. I feel robbed. The customer service won't even respond to me. My previous complaints were much more civil. But after a year of complaining about this, my patience is completely gone. It is clear they will not fix it or even address it.

I've already created a ticket month ago. Nothing. They sent me to a Q/A That had nothing to do with my issue.

I posted that as well and they said it will most likely be fixed in the next patch. I hope it doesn't go back to that automatic minimap zooming depending on your normal camera. I want the control about both maps!

I agree that two had a better mini map. The zooming won't stay after you move you can do this press down the wheel it will let you move the map after one of your survey ships go through a wormhole. Zoom as normal.

I think I might have seen a an option to turn off automatic minimap zooming in the interface tab in the options menu. I could be wrong though. And in my game, as my empire expands, the minimap expands to include all of it.

while annoying i cant consider it game breaking to the point of making the game unplayable i hardly ever look at the minimap and would probobly prefer if it werent there at all give more room for the main map.. what would really be nice was if the minimap controlls (show stars, asteroids, ships, etc could be applied to the main map)
