game stuck

I have an awesome game going on a insane map.  The game seems to not want to get past turn 570 for some reason.  I have an earlier save and when I get to turn 570 the game just freezes after I hit turn.  I have waited hoping it was just the computer taking its time with turns but nothing.  I have an earlier save and even tried deleting the auto saves thinking that might have caused the freeze.  I tried doing different things but after I hit turn on #570 it locks up.  I did verify that I have the latest patch.  If my game was started before the patch am I still using the old version?  Hoping there is a solution as I hate to give up on this game that I put so much time into.  Any suggestions?

Sorry, no suggestions. This was supposed to be fixed in the last patch. Maybe  because you didn't start a new game? I feel your pain investing many hours into a game on an insane sized map only to have the game prevent you from finishing... If you can't find a way to continue, keep the save some where as a fix may come down the road allowing you to finish. I was able to finish a couple of games like this, most other s I had to scrap though. This is speaking about playing through the various betas and release versions.

please open a ticket and send in (attach) your save.  They really use this stuff to find and fix these exact type of bugs.  If you don't know, instructions here

Thank you for responding.  I have submitted my ticket but forgot to include my steam info.  Hopefully my email info will be enough.  I would really enjoy finishing that game that I had invested so much time.  In the mean time I started a new game and added some DL factions.  Hope I'll be able to at least finish this game.

OK something is wrong. Started a whole new game and having another stuck turn this time on turn # 477.  I'm hate having to invest so much time in a game when it just locks up like this.  Would be nice to at least finish one game, might just have to play on smaller maps as they might be less buggy.  I just like the idea of the insane maps and want an extended game but would like to be able to finish it.

I am in a similar situation and when I tagged my save for uploading and submitted the ticket there was then a problem. It submitted the ticket, but said the filesize on the attachment was too big so it couldn't be uploaded. I didn't get a second shot to attach the save. How are we supposed to upload 15mb save files with our bug reports?  edit: it was turn 418 not 500 if that matters.

I've had a few infinite turn freezes since 1.12, but reloading an earlier save has usually cleared them, unlike the previous repeatable end-turn bugs.

Yes, me too. Started happening with v1.12. No jammed games before that.

Was the planned release date of v1.20 in August? That's not too far. Unless it's the end of the month...

OK I'm happy to report that I was able to use an old auto save to get past turn 477.  I'm just crossing my fingers to see if I can complete this game all the way thru.
