Need new campaign focus

if u have played enough ull know what the bane is and how important it is to late game battles... If you have only played the campaign and failed everyone its because the only item that matters in the campaign is THE BANE, its the one item that apparently allows SD to give the drengin 10x ur tech level.  If you played the campaign u have probably already learned the hard way that the only battle ull ever win in campaign maps is with the TAS crusader at your side.  I would much rather have a balaced map and functioning missions instead of this magical item u use to justify not balancing the techs... Mostly the isuuse forms in turn 10 when 100 dmg ships appear to wipe out ur fleet of 3 and 4 damage.
