Looking for suggestions in expanding/growing Assembly Based Race

Been Playing around with assembly custom race. Find it difficult to compete with players using organic race due to long times in producing assemblies. Any thoughts on the best way to expand and grow with assemblies would be greatly appreciated.

Biggest thing to remember is to use the Eco wheel (or whatever the devs call it). By pushing all productivity to Manufacturing you can easily reduce how long it takes to build population for synthetics. This is best for early game/colony build.

Later on you can specialize one or two planets (or more, depending on map size) to be nothing but population builders and move the excess population over to a planet that you want to focus on science or money.

Just remember to have restraint and not use the exploit of moving more population to a planet which the planet can support.  This should be easily correctable by the devs in the future, but until then you will have to rely on that moral compass.

I've. Been experimenting with the Yor. My biggest problem I've. Overcame is that instead of putting 2 1/2 pop put in 1/2 pop.

Yeah I just find they fall so far behind early and its very very difficult to compete and let alone stay happy. In multiplayer I can't make them work.

Yor tech is great.  The problem is the "synthetic races" part.

Choosing synthetic race is actually a DEBUFF.

What you want is Yor Tech with a Non-Synthetic race.  Food is a problem (Yor tech "farms" only work for synthetic pop) so get +2 Food Trait and trade for Monsantium +1 food resources.

Can explain more about Yor Tech tree being great. Which parts? You probably have more game time than I do.
