Mods not working 1.03 (Game compiler issue)

Hi , I have mods I want to add to the game but it seems that they are not being detected and added

Game launches fine but my testing seems to show the mods arnt added
For now I will assume that the game compilers have some issues e.g the space in "My games" perhaps?
My username folder used to have a space but I got rid of that a long time ago and hardcoding my mod folder directory didn't fix the issue.

Testing done:
I have a starbase module I added , technology and requirements all met , but module doesn't show up.
Went to console to add module by command , module is not recognised/found

So some questions

1)Will a faulty mod , although game runs fine for some reason(if it is even possible) , prevent other mods for being loaded?
2)Does anyone have the same problem / solution for this problem?

Can someone help me pleaseeeeee?

Thank you!

Your mod folders each need at least the following folders in them for the game to go "this is a mod." Even if they are empty folders, you need them.

Game

Core

Campaign

Text

ParticleScriptDefs

Not true, you only need a Game and Text folder there is no need to have the others unless you are using files which go in those folders. I know that is the instructions the dev's gave day one of unlocking mods but it has never actually been true.

As to the OP's issue, I don't believe its a problem of spaces in the path as pretty much everyone has the space in My Games.

Generally unless two mods alter the same data then they are not able to conflict or interfere with each other. Even when the internal names overlap the game throws and error but still launches and runs fine with a bit of glitchiness regarding the duplicated name but otherwise works fine.

Are you able to download and run other peoples mods?

I have all the folders already.
All the mods are downloaded except one. I just modified the values here and there. There doesn't seem to be a clash of edited xml files though

Is there a simple mod I can test with? Maybe ill remove all mods 1st.

Thanks!

Don't forget to enable mods in the game menu.
