Hi everyone,Basically what iv'e done is i have built a starbase(Mining) near some Durantuim.It's producing 1 durantuim.Do i need to build a Durantuim Refinery to get more?.I mean how does it all work?.

The Durantium Refinery consumes durantium. You'll eventually unlock mining upgrades for your starbase that will increase the yields.
No, you will consume/use/spend Durantium when you build ships or improvements/buildings, which use Durantium including Durantium Refinery.
If you want to get more Durantium, you will either need to upgrade your starbase, which mines Durantium, or you will have to build another starbase, which can mine Durantium.
Further in the upper right corner of the screen you should see a list of resources, which you harvest. Here you should see that you are harvesting/mining 1 Durantium. You can also see the Durantium used in ships and improvements/buildings.
In the Tech Tree there is a long list of starbase mining upgrades, each of which will allow you to mine more effectively. Not sure but I believe they are located in the Engineering branch at the very bottom of the screen.
Learning these mining enhancements can at least quadruple your mining output.
The mines mine it, the refinery refines it and the improvements and/or ships use it. You have to build more mining star bases to produce more.
Durantium is plentiful. You should have no problem getting more than you can use.
Um... the refinery just uses it too. If it 'refined' it, it suggests you get another resource out of it.
I guess it depends on how you look at it. I see the refined Durantium being spent (used) on the adjacency bonuses, maybe not ship augments.
Yeah, I see what you're saying; it's just saying it 'refines' it implies a different result from other stuff that just 'uses' it, which is a little confusing if you're at the stage where you don't understand the basics.
Refining takes the base resource and turns it into something else. Oil into gasoline, for example.
Also when you place your mining star bases try to place them so they mine more than one resource at a time. Iv'e placed somed that mine three different resources at the same time.
