Sexy Leaders Races (NSFW)

Sexy Leaders Races (NSFW)

might be offensive to some

I have always had some "risqué" portraits I've used, and now have also used the pictures to make FG's to go with them. I have seen mods for other games such as Skyrim and Fallout 3 that have adult content, but also have them flagged as such. These mods are being done in a forum and I'm not sure to what is and is not appropriate. I would like to offer some sexy content and more but want to known what is allowed. If I could get some direction before posting any I would appreciate it. Here are a few examples of the portraits, to can guess what goes with them. FYI, most I have are no worse than what can be seen on broadcast TV, But I don't want to offend others. Feedback would be gratefully appreciated, thanks.

Here are the current portraits available:

kr, not sure - as it's been a while since I downloaded your races - but since they are broken up into multiple files, maybe a note as to which one each belongs to. Would love to grab one or two but don't want to update all files.

Sorry, do sure what you are asking. All races are listed by their race name and a brief description, and any new versions are listed as v1.2 or above, new recently added races are v1.1. I did update all my originals, so they will be v1.2 or above, meaning v1.1's are recent. Also you can file through the pictures. Each race has 2, the first is the combined FG & BG, the second is the start screen for a race with it's description, FG, and logo. Don't know if this was any help, but let me know if I can answer you any better, sorry.

No prob, mate!!!

I could use some help, though... Maybe i'll make my male races soon, i just need to figure out what i've been doing wrong... i've tried to create a race by modding, but i've been having issues with the images... none of them appear... LeaderFG, Portrait and Logo, none of them show up... Background is working fine, though... Could you give me some pointers on creating races??? ive already asked help in the modders guide, bud no response so far (almost a month since ive asked for help)...

Yes,

First: You will be working in the following folder (I first work in multiple saved folders and the transfer them over when ready to use), "C:\Users\K****** B******\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3\Factions". You will see four folders named: LeaderBGs, LeaderFGs, Logos, and Portraits.

Second: I use the following two free programs to edit and adjust images: "GIMP2" (go to YouTube to see how to cut out images), and "paint.net" (easier and quicker to use, just not as strong, in my opinion).

*** note *** make all images in PNG

Third: Choose a background you want to use, crop it and resize it to be 1920x1080.

Fourth: Choose a foreground you want to use, cut it out, resize it and put it on a new 1920x1080 image that you have already added a second transparent layer and deleted the first layer on (it will be right if the complete blank is covered in a checkered pattern). **** note **** when you transfer the new image onto its 1920x1080 blank it should not go all the way top to bottom, bottom to about 80% up works about the best.

Fifth: take your FG image copy it and crop it so that it is at 250x250, save this as your portrait (unless you want to use a different image for a portrait).

Sixth: find the logo you want to use (or create your own as you did with the FG), size and crop it to 128x128.

Seventh: Put all four pictures into their correct folders in the faction file.

Last: Start up GC3 and make a new race using all the images you have setup.

This is only a quick guide, but should get you started in the right direction I hope, thanks.

*** finale note *** All the sizes I gave or what I use for constancy, and work well for me.

Thx a lot...

I was trying to mod them, though... maybe i'll have to do the way you are telling me... modding isnt working out...

I would also note for the leaderFG image, do not put them along the sides/edges as some clipping/shading occurs, I would put them 1/8 of the way from a side (at least) - if you don't center the image.

Also try to uniquely name your images, that way no overlap will occur.

I also swap the leader image (if they are on a side) as sometimes with different backgrounds may want it on the other side.

So I create an image naming like someLeaderFGL (for Foreground Left) and someLeaderFGR (for Foreground Right) and someLeaderFGC (Foreground Center).

Well I had an idea for two new races that will have a common link, so here is the first, race 58:

INTERSPECIES UNITY

And here is the second, race 59. I may make a third race in this group being the "master race" that created them both. We'll see:

CYBIO COLLECTIVE

After using Horemvore's mod "Star Trek Minor Races", I got the inspiration to make my first real mod to round out my Sexy Leader universe. I used his mod as a blue print to make "Sexy Leader Minor Races". It is a collection of 39 minor races. I don't believe it is compatible with Horemvore's mods "New Star Trek Minor Races" or "Galactic Star Trek". If I find that this mod is working correctly (which for me is at the moment), and others want to use it along with either of the 2 previously mentioned mods, I will work on adjusting it so that they would become compatible. Once again thanks to Horemvore for the inspiration.

It can be downloaded from Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/galacticcivilizations3/mods/97/?

Here are some of the races from the mod:

Need to grab my old friends from the Avion Exaltation again, for the Crusade now. There is something very old school and Flash Gordon-ish about them, which really appeals to my inner aesthetical orientation, somehow. Now that we can assign ships to everyone in detail, any more extras would at any rate (optionally) kill off the actual play time, to no end. I've spent like two hours setting up the main player, you know the initial play-through will not go well, with all this preparation. But without familiar faces, it is strange to visit new places.

Edit: Got it to work, after some fiddling with mysteriously placed alternate folders, because it would be way too simple otherwise. Hehehehe.... (not a fault of the mod, it's how Steam placed the files locally, in an alternate user profiled space, outside of the named one, for some reason) I see they have been updated since last time, great! I think they will play right out of the box, or download as it were, although they have -2 available trait points on my comp at least. I guess that means they are better prepared for the future. We'll see what happens. You can never have enough trait points at any rate. Time to dive in... !

Edit2: Looks good. Well, they always did. But everything is flying along. Hehe.

Have put a new version to work better with Crusade up on Nexus. Version 2.1, let me know if any problems are found, thanks.

Wow, have you reworked all of them through the Civ builder?  Are there any sexy citizens?

Actually they were not worked through the Civ builder. I have though about possibly citizens next.

Just installed your citizen portraits, thanks very much for them!  Endorsed on Nexus.

Funny thing happened: I made a sexy female leaders race that had no problem with men and  a feminazi race. After a while the sexy female race contacted me, saying that the Feminazis had destroyed them and they were giving their remaining assets to me.

It kinda made sense that the feminazis would go straight for the sexy female race first! Funny how that kinda worked.

I created a new Civ for Crusade ("Remnant of the Krell"), using your artwork, adding my own choices for citizen names and flavor text.  Would you be interested in including it in your collection?  If so I could zip up the .faction file and the FlavorText folder files and provide a dropbox link.

The leader portrait that I chose reminded me (probably because of the helmet) of Robby the Robot from the 1956 film Forbidden Planet, and I took my inspiration from that film.  Here's a dropbox link, I hope you can read it.  Let me know if you can't, I'll try to repost it using another method.

The file is encoded using 7zip, a freeware super zip manager, if you require a normal zip file, let me know.

I downloaded the file and unpacked it. All I got were 3 files in the "FlavorText" folder, and the "Remnant of the Krell_9F59389FD83B45C7B0DE720B42178E57" file. while it does show in my races, there are no pics.

Maybe I missed something Publis  8|

By pictures, do you mean when you use the race in game you don't see the leader foreground & background, etc?  Or jpg/png files to show the race outside the game?

I see that my assumption that citizen portraits were included in the citizen xml file were wrong, so I will repackage that and try again.

Ok, just let me know and I'll retry. Thanks
