Declaring War - Needs "Are You Sure"

cause I'm dumb

It would be nice if there could be some sort of confirmation when choosing to go to war from the diplomacy screen.

I've misclicked so many times (through my own fault admittedly) and wound up with races that I didn't really want to be at war with.

Yes it does.  I brought it a couple of times and it never seems to get any traction. :S

+1,  see the discussion during beta. Shift "declare war" to the other "trade" options, start with them, and add an "Are you really sure?" message before actually declaring war.

Good idea.

Although maybe the system should keep track of the number of times you've accidentally declared war. I mean, once or twice every so often is bad luck. But if your race gets a habit for committing an act that as basically a declaration of war, then next turn going "Oops! Soz! My Bad!", your diplomacy standing should take a major hit. And ultimately, once you've declared war against the Drengin for the fourth time, this time there's no accepted surrender.

Even if it's inadvertently moving ships towards a planet that would be seen as an act of war...
