extending or changing center of range for ships/fleet
Is there any where to extend the range, or more precisely, reset the center of range arc for a ship or fleet without throwing the whole thing away?
Thanks
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Your question seems slightly confusing or possibly a double question. I will take a hopefully useful stab. I assume you are referring to the life support range of a ship/fleet. This range is from any colony/starbase you own (so multiple "centers" of range) regardless of where the construction of the ship or banding of the fleet took place. As far as a fleet goes, the minimum range of any given ship in the fleet would be used for the group just as movement speed is. If you acquire a new colony or construct a new starbase then range is appropriately updated as a "center". Also new construction of a ship with the same life support range would not change this(only mentioned due to your discarding bit). One trick for some odd range extension is having a ship with a constructor module and a survey module then surveying a wormhole and constructing a starbase at the end point. I assume this still works. Haven't tried lately but doubt that will change. If you happen to be referencing combat in any way then I have virtually no grasp on the new combat mechanics of 3. Also if this is nothing of what you mean then I apologize for the slightly long read and my misunderstanding. ![]()
