Inability to delete custom factions

I am unable to permanently delete custom factions from the game. After multiple attempts to delete them using the delete button in the game, I decided to manually delete them by going directly into the file and deleting them into my recycle bin, then emptying the recycle bin. Even after that, the custom factions are still in the game, a new copy of the deleted file appears, even though it shouldn't exist. I am just stumped.

 

They all appear to be files made between 4/27 and 5/11, in beta 6.

Turn off cloud sync in Steam.  Unfortunately you can't yet turn it off for just GC3, you have to turn it off for all games.  That's an issue Stardock is working on with Valve.

Im guessing this will come back in some form in 1.1. Seeing as when the steam workshop comes in you should be able to install, delete, etc Everything from within the game itself. Atm all it is seeing when you delete something is "oh the file is missing, ill restore it", where it needs to be told that you WANT to have it removed, which from within the game it can do that.
