[Bug(?)] Steam Achievement Not Registering

I won as Altarians on a large map through a Technological victory. It hasn't unlocked the achievements on Steam to win as Altarians and win a Technological victory. Yet during the same game it has unlocked destroy another faction and some others....have I missed an important step in the game?

**EDIT: Achievements for winning Tech victory and Altarian victory unlocked a day later. Steam probs forgot its morning coffee.

During the beta it failed to unlock the custom civ win achievement for me, I reported it but Derek said it "worked for him" and as far as I can tell didn't investigate further. So there might well be problems they haven't fixed.

Nope, didn't use the console or cheat in anyway. As I said, other achievements which were added in the latest update were unlocked.
