Hi!

Being new to the ship designer as well as to the whole game, I made quite a few mistakes on my first ship design. One was, that I didn't pay attention to the orientation of my model (some kind of indicator in the designer would really help), so that my new ship ended up flying sideways... Anyway, I was able to solve that.

But the second one bothers me even more: by accident I built the ship on a cargo core although I meant it to be a battleship. Now I wanted to have it turned into a medium sized vessel when the game notified me, that I would be losing any parts I already placed when going over to a different hull size. Now, this is really frustrating, as I put like an hour into that ship... I then tried saving it as a template, which didn't give any results as the template is only selectable in the "cargo"-section. My next idea was to have the whole ship saved as one part via the "save a group of components as a new part" function, but after hitting the save button, I couldn't find my ship anywhere in the "parts"-section...

So, where are those "custom saved parts"? How can I use them? Or is there any other possibility to shift my existing design to another hull class?
