Old beta 0.97.7 save game file cannot be deleted!

It drives me crazy!!! :annoyed:

I completely uninstalled the game via steam and deleted all game relevant directories.

I completely re-installed the game via steam ... and ma old beta 0.97.7 save file named 'test.GC3Sav' is again selectable in the save game loading window!!! WHAAAA!!!

HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS BETA SAVE GAME FILE?!?

Use the delete button on the save game window. This game supports steam cloud and it's what is giving you grief.

Using the delete button on the save game doesn't help, already tried that!

It gets removed from the list ... but after starting the game again the save is still available in the save game window!

Steam cloud is NOT enabled in this game!

Is there a compatibility files button windows explorer. If so delete the files in that folder (it's a virtual folder) then make sure compatibility mode is not enabled. Otherwise, I would put in a ticket to support.

Disable Steam Cloud in Steam's general settings not only for this game. Then go in the game and delete it. It won't come back. (at least that's how it worked for me).

1. Launch Steam

2. At the top left click Steam > Settings

3. Click Cloud on the left sidebar

4. Uncheck Enable Steam Clound synchronization for applications that support it.
