Ok, first my english is not the best... sorry

 

Well, i played this game many hours and i had an Power from 2000. An antoher Species has 4000.

This annother Species is at war, he won and takes over the territories... Now is the Power from the winner species not more than 4000... its 0....

Its happend two times...

Is this a Bug??? I hope you fix it soon!

This was the reason, why i'm quit the game :(

The power meter, while it can be helpful at times, normally does not actually effect gameplay. I normally just ignore it and go off of what the opponent has atm.  Also it is possible that when the Species took over a bunch of territories it got way more than its moral could handle and put it down to near 0 which has a huge impact to production.

it has been reported that when you reach more then 5k it rolls over to 0

and while it doesent effect the player that much this value is how the ai knows who to attack if there power is showing 0 then they wi either be building military when they dont need to or surrendering when thy are superior

It is a bug. And a very bad one. It is described on this forum. Basically,  when power meter reaches 5000 points, it drops to 0. It is all finished for that  game at that point. Since race with 0 points will quickly surrender to someone. Then,  that race will fo over 5000 and so on.
