2 questions about Steam

1) Is there a way to see how popular GalCiv3 is on Steam? E.g. how many folks are playing it, and, especially, how many units have sold?

And more generally about Steam:

2) Is there a way to be automatically notified when your Wishlisted games go on sale/Special?

1. I know there are stats for the top games but have not found out how to do a specific game.

That's a 3rd party site so I don't know how accurate it is overall, but I guess can give a general idea on how many people are playing.

As far as sales numbers, that's not something that is public.
