Then I start galciv 3 from the desktop some old races that i deleted from the game, come back so i have two drengin custom and so on.

Only thing I can think of is steam cloud is "helping" you by restoring them.

I believe it is something like that someone mentioned this on another thread it's restoring them from the game cache, not sure how you work around it search the forum as I say there was another thread a little while ago.

True.  It was there during the beta, but now that I've updated to release 1.0, I don't see it anymore.  Maybe it was giving so many problems that they disabled it.

If the Steam Cloud isn't restoring them then the in-game delete should get rid of them.

Yeah, everything said here. It's stored in multiple places and also uploaded to the Steam cloud unless you turn that off as well.
