How to install Factions that a mods.

I am really sorry, but I must be a big dunce.

I downloaded the contest factions and read all the info on how to install them and I must still be doing something wrong with the factions that are mods. So basically I need to know how to install a mod.

 

When I have the faction. lets say the Orphical Faction Mod, it is just a single folder with the subfolder [Game] and a bunch of xml files.

Do I put the folder [OrphicalFactionMod] in my Mod directory and do nothing else?

Do I put the folder [OrphicalFactionMod] in my Mod directory in the subfolder Factions?

Do I put the xml files from the [OrphicalFactionMod] in the Mod directory in the subfolder Game?

 

When I start GalCiv 3 do I need to do anything to bring the mods up or will they automatically be there?

I created a folder you can drop into your My Documents\My Games\GalCiv3 folder with all the custom factions. You can see how I structured the folder. There are some differences in how each submission was handled. 

Drop the contents of each folder into the same folder in the the My Games folder. I'm still working on Kuja's mod. It didn't work for me but i just found his installation instructions.
