Game Freeze on Invasions

Encountering an issue on beta 6.1.X where I invade planets it works, then the 2nd or 3rd time (but eventually) it just gets stuck and never shows the invasion screen but plays the music. I have no force kill GCIII then verify game cache or restart to get it working again.
