Still no rotate button in Ship Designer?

What title says. Release date is approaching and I'm getting rather worried this rather simple feature is still nowhere to be seen and worst.

I already made a few threads on this in the past and was told each time not to worry, it would be included as part of the final updates in the run up to the release... And now not only is release date fast approaching, but according to some people in the steam forums who chatted to devs in some stream, it got downgraded from "will be included in the final release" to a "eh...maybe, if we feel like it" thing that might not even end up being included.

Would like to get some confirmation on this one way or another.

Anyways brb uninstalling Gal Civ 3 for the 5th time now (each time I install it with hopes the rotate button is there, each time am majorly disappoint).

I dont mean to sound like an ass, but why can you not simply hold down middle mouse button (scroll wheel in my case) and move the mouse? It rotates the ship just fine... am I missing something?

Yeah... are everything standing on an issue with an in game "button" for something you can do by pressing a mouse button and drag the mouse?

Seems a bit extreme to me...

If you are talking about rotating ship parts its right there on the lower right of the screen just like in gal civ 2. Also if you don't like using the degree dials like myself you can click on the options button on the bottom. There you can select, "show design gizmos" and you will be able to rotate, enlarge, move up, down, and side to side by dragging the arrows and gyros with your left mouse mouse button.

Rotate whole ship,,,, hold down the mouse wheel button and viola, rotating ship.

If you don't have a mouse wheel or a middle mouse button then maybe it's time to replace that dinosaur. :wc:
