Beta 6 .90 Intuitive trait still does not work if selecting techs from the tech tree

As reported during beta 5, if your race has the intuitive trait you get free research at the beginning of the game, but only if you select the techs from the first research screen.  If you switch to the tech tree and select the a tech from there, the free research points do not get applied.

I've opened ticket #QSJ-333-31037.

This will be fixed in beta 6 patch 1.
