Got this working better today.  The culture system is just getting so good now. 

Currently trying to win a game without firing a shot.

You've added numbers to the diplomatics aspects!

I asked for this some time ago - thank you.

The numbers still don't make sense though: (5) for +3 and (-8) for -3??

By the looks of it, every 2 is a new + or -

so (1) or (2) would be +, (3) or (4) ++, (5) onwards +++

Obviously, there is limited room, so more than three +s wouldn't work. If you had a bonus of 20, that'd be 10 +s!

I really like the game and especially BETA 6. I want to congratulate you guys for your time and effort and your good communication with the players.

However, I'm really a new player and I'm bad, I'm rushing things and I don't always take time to establish a strategy. But still, I win with influence and easily, without a single fight (normal). The only thing I do is building influence buildings, I'm never attacked. Soon enough, I'm flipping planets without negative consequences, and then, a snowball effect takes place and nothing can stop my influence development until I win the game.

Is that normal? I mean I could raise the difficulty but I honestly think I'm not a good enough to raise the difficulty level and try to obtain another kind of victory condition. Even at Normal It would definitly be harder to win by aiming for another victory condition and that is what makes me think (with my noob experience and without your knowledge of the game) that influence victory is too easy.
