Let us choose two techs, we want to research subsequently using STRG or SHIFT

If a tech doesn't need all available research tech to be completed within a turn, the residual points go directly into the next tech, which is perfect. But, if I can not simply pick the subsequent techs I want to research simply by holding down e.g. STRG or SHIFT as it's common in most programs. Especially that is problematic if I want select a tech as the "next tech" and the current tech that's being researched is a "split into 3 tech field". Then automatically the upper most of the 3 techs is selected even I if would like to have the lowest of the three for example...

Hope that's understandable...

A minor thing that be quickly improved.

I'm not sure what you mean by STRG, but I agree that the left over research points should be applied to the next tech THAT I SELECT, and this should also apply to the points given by ideology traits.

The simplest method would be to have excess points roll over, but barring that, yes, we should be able to ctrl-click and select a series of techs, rather than being stuck with simply taking the first tech in the expandable list, in order to have the points roll over to the end techs we really want.

Research points are rolling over on 0.83 for me in both cases; where I have another tech queued behind the current one, and when I select a new tech to be researched.

The use of a tech queue where we can set the order in which we want techs to be researched is a good idea.

Sry, I'm from Austria thus using a German keyboard. STRG = CTRL.

Thx for picking up the input!
