Support tkt submitted

So since getting 5.3 I have played the Humans and the Alterian and both races experience a crash to desktop when the initial UP Leader vote comes up.
I have submitted a support tkt, but has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions on how to get past it?
Not sure why but this worked this morning.....
oddness. I even rebooted yesterday to see if that would fix it so no clue here.
Yeah it just happened to me am running the 5.3 opt in and it happens every single time with the save at the time of the vote. Reading the support now to figure out how to generate the needed files for a ticket.
Also noticed that it does not generate a crash dump file at all no matter how many times I reload the game and have it suddenly go to desktop after hit vote which is odd.
Hmm paying more attention on yet another reload of the save I also noticed some of the races shown on the UP screen I have not met yet.
Well I wish I knew what I did to fix it. It just worked yesterday morning.
