Is there a difference between .82 Opt in and .82 beta release?

Did you add or do any additional fixes that would make it worth my while to start completely new games today rather than finish out some of the old games?

That is just a couple of different ways different people refer to the same thing. It is also known as Beta 5.2 or  Beta 5 patch 2. I just refer to it as what the title page calls it, version 0.82.

I think it is worth trying out for a couple of reasons, 1) it is getting to be quit fun, 2) If you are going to have any system issues it would be good to get them resolved now.

the opt in was 0.82 and the release today was 0.82.4    I am just wondering what they changed and if there is reason to stop my current games in the case that there is additional bug fixes between the opt in and the official release of the beta...  what I call it is moot.

Quoting Taslios, reply 2

End of Taslios's quote

They both were labeled 0.82.4.0 in properties on the exe file.  There were some minor changes according to Derek Paxton, saying that the universal translator for yor and iridium was to be fixed with the actual patch where it was an issue in the opt-in
