Possible bug report and ideas

Good morning,

Just starting my first complete game in 5.2 and I have noticed two possible bugs: first, no matter how far the shipyards are from the sponsoring planet, it will always say that distance decay is 0% when hoovering the mause over the planet in the sponsors' screen. However, the contribution to that shipyard is in fact affected by distance, so I guess it is just a problem of the decay indicator.

I have also notice that when an economic space station is made, it does not seem to affect the actual output of the nearby planet or at least this is not reflected when hoovering over the  total output in the planets' screen, where it shows what is affecting total output.

On a separate front, when hoovering over the available resources on the top right of the screen, I think it would be a good idea if it would tell you what are the actual effects of the resource you are looking at, now it is complicated to find those effects in the interface...

That is all for now, keep working on the game! it is just awesome!

The shipyard decay could be a result of a racial trait. If you are playing as Terran or possibly a custom race, then you could have the ability to ignore shipyard decay. I have not personally watched for effects of an economic base on planets, but it does take a turn to complete. I'll have to check that out.

Yes, I was playing as Terran so there is the answer.

By the way, I have notice that the game crashes very often when a combat is triggered, it didn't use to crash that often in previous 5.1 or at least that wass my impression.
