Some Stuff.

Really.

I haven't played much in the past two months and am out of the loop, so I may have repeated some things. I played with the idea of setting priorities and seeing if the game would let me do it well.

1. The empire population, morale, research, credit, and turn info in the top right are to small for how important they are. I would suggest enlarging that and shrinking the planet list as a worthy trade off.

2. The shipyard management screen works perfectly and I was able to see and do anything easily. But there was this odd little bug. If I removed my primary sponsor (in this care my homeworld 2 tiles away) the second planet that was added becomes the primary sponsor ( a planet giving less production 22 tiles away.) but if you add your homeworld back again the next turn, even if it is closer and gives more production it will not be the primary sponsor.

3. The option to turn off the grid outside of influence is not working. I was sure it was working in previous builds...?

4. Terraforming tiles need to be visible at colonization or in the governors screen. I imagine scouts can see that a tile in between a group of factories could be terraformed with the right tech, but I cannot see it until I research the terraforming tech. If we were able to see what tiles can be terraformed then better future planning could happen and it would also encourage people to research it when they can see better adjacency bonuses could be gained. I can also theorize that many people would like this ability better if it were a technology, I think so too.

5. There needs to be more management everywhere! I know the devs have heard this fro myself and several other people over the last few months and are likely having nightmares about it by now, so I will not go into what's been said already. ;3

In regards to your 1st point I would disagree as those numbers as important as they are, are not directly modifiable and are essentially a reporting. The listings below that (in the case of colonies) have to yield those numbers in relation to that planet as well as name, and production que. That is simply my opinion though and not intended to invalidate your own.

The shipyard sponsor issue, I have never observed and I agree the primary should always be the highest production planet, though I really never noticed it had primary or secondary to be honest.

Terra forming while knowing where tiles will later become available is a little bit of a guess, which I personally like, but they will always be over land mass on the screen so you can sorta judge where they will be available later.

In regards to your 5th point I offer this counter point.... HA no I don't I agree fully! Bring on the massive amounts of gaming!
