A Marvelous Game...

...but, the writing is terrible.  I think the writers are trying to be funny however, they are not funny.  It kind of ruins the mood of the game.  I can understand the idea of a game that doesn't take itself too seriously but, whoever is doing the writing to try to achieve this is failing miserably.  I highly recommend you go out and find a professional to rewrite the dialogs.

Great game otherwise.

I kind of agree - i tend to skip most of the text as it is redundant to the game and the experience as a whole

This is certainly a 'to each his own' thing, but GOOD LORD do I love the quest text :inlove:  So much more enjoyable than the serious-and-quazi-Tolken-esque that we'd aspire to before (not a knock on the skill of our previous writing team - just style).

I agree Scott, I like it as well. Also, you guys do have a professional doing the writing don't you? Thought it was someone from Cracked magazine or something like that.

Maybe you could have an option, choosing a serious game or a more "comedy" game. :)

I like it too. While I enjoy settings that take themselves seriously, I like these for their change of pace. Though I'm not a big fan of only having choices that make me sound like a douche...

still prefer the funny for this game. I'd love to see a very serious fantasy game from you all eventually.
