It is attention to details like that this that make a great game the best. (just remember those folks with red-green color blindness when choosing shades of blue and green).

Oh indeed, i didn't considered this, thanks for bringing it! Guess ill dump to a yellow / cyan basis.
My main concern at doing this was to give a bit more of actual clean areas in the UI, making things iconized and mouseover tooltip'd. Strategy players are used to icons and checking tooltips, so theres no need for so many boxes with written text.
My top bar for resources is kinda very bad yet, thou. Im working for a second version that follow the blue glowlines that is used in most of the original UI.
I'm not sure if were loosing so much by dropping the right bar, but i think that the info there is easly acessed in a separate screen, and as the game is turned based, there's no need to rush to check up for info, which makes the sidebar meaningless.
While im not even dreaming to implement this in the base game, would be amazing from Stardock to release (in its due time, ofc) some basic modding tools to tinker with the UI.
