Yet another Pragmatic Ideology Bug

Traders(1) grants a freighter but does not grant the corresponding trade licence

Sorry if this was known already, but I didn't see this one listed in the bugs/known issues thread - maybe most people already had researched trading before getting this so it wasn't noticed so far...?

While playing terran on a large map choosing the trading bonus as my first pragmatic one (got 2 beneficial before) I noticed:

Pragmatic Ideology "Traders (lvl 1)" grants a freighter but it does not grant the corresponding trade licence - so the freighter had to idle near its destination until my research had kept up...

there might be a related bug

atm when the ai creates a trade route with you it uses up one of your trade slots 

so its possible that you got the bonus trade route then the ai used it making it look like you diddent get it

You can check by going to the global Govern dialog and then the Trade tab. If there is an alien trade route with you, it will show up there in the bottom half.

I'm catching up on the 3/27 dev stream video just now. They ran into this specific issue and it was identified as a bug. So I have high hopes that it will be fixed soon.

In the meantime, I'll go back to being a benevolent pacifist. :-)
