Ships - Duplicates In List

Hello, I am a newbie user who just purchased the Beta this past weekend from Steam - and so am running the latest version. I tried to search the forums to see if this was a previously reported bug but wasn't able to find any reference, apologies as a newbie if this is already a known issue:

This morning I returned to the game and in the Designer the ship list had 10 repeated copies of FREIGHTER M0.  I checked and the repeated names also show up in ship creation lists, e.g. in Shipyards.  I reviewed the list and no other ship, neither prebuilt nor custom designed had duplicate copies.  At the time I hadn't thought anything of it, but this made me realize twice in the past week the KNIGHT M0 had also duped, though only once each (in each case I deleted the dupe).

In case any of the following helps for reproduction:  I did accidentally leave the game on overnight (not in the Designer nor with a ship list open), so it had likely been running for 10-12 hours.  I have built custom-designed ships on the FREIGHTER template, and my game has a FREIGHTER M1 as well (that did not dupe).  I have never built one of the stock FREIGHTERs in this game, but have built two custom-built ships based on the FREIGHTER template.  I took a screenshot of the repeated FREIGHTER copies if that is helpful - I don't seem to have the ability to paste that in here.  My game is at turn 43.

i have seen this issue ass well i thought it had be reported before most of the basic ships seem to have duplicates (as in any you dont design yourself )

I have seen the same bug, even after deleting them they come back, I have just started playing the game myself a few days ago and just seen this bug today.

Ya every time you research a new tech that can be used in ships, it makes a new upgraded ship type and all the old ones get re-added to the list as "M0"s.  It is very annoying, and yes it is a known bug that will hopefully get fixed in the next version they send out for us to test :P

Yea, I got this as well, you end up with dozens of the exact same ship.

 

I design my own and just ignore them, hopefully be fixed in a future build.

Always fun when one trades for several techs at once and there are suddenly 200 new designs in your shipyard. :p

and btw just to clarify, I think this is a different bug than all the M0 ships reappearing in the list every time a new tech is researched or traded for - I also get that problem but assumed it was well known.  in this case I got ten dupes of just one M0 ship even though I hadnt researched any new ship techs (in fact I hadn't even been playing, just had the app open on my desktop).  in fact, in the time during which i was typing up the bug report, an eleventh dupe popped in.  And I definitely wasn't acquiring new techs then.

Island Dog you have a list of MO ships the the last two like M8 and M9 and if you look at how long to build you can tell which M0 to use .I belive this  was tlak about on one of the streams.But it sure would not hurt to mention it again
