Game won't launch

Hello,

So I picked up the Beta on sale this past weekend and downloaded and installed it, but the game won't launch when I try to run it in steam or from the shortcut on the desktop.  Nothing happens when I click on it.  If I try to run it directly from the exe this is the error I get:

 The program can't start because d3dx10_43.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I have windows 7 64 bit sp1 DX 11, which to my knowledge is up to date.  Can anyone help with this?  I've already tried a reinstall.

Hey RunningOn,

Based on your description, it sounds like you may need to re-run the DirectX redistributable in the GC3 install directory. Please navigate to the following directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010 (Default Steam installation)

Once there, please find DXSETUP.exe, right click and select "Run as Administrator". Once that's complete, please restart your system and try launching GC3 once again.
