[Bug?] Drengin - Slave Camp?

I'm playing the Drengin for the 1st time and think I've found a bug, or at least something that seems really confusing to me.

On the "Planet Surface" screen I noticed that the auto-upgrade has some buildings, "Slave Camp" queued up in the Manufacturing Queue which are not listed as part of the Available Projects.  At first, I thought these were just typos and that these buildings are either "Work Camp" (MFG Cost 30) or "Slave Pit" (MFG Cost 101), but the manufacturing cost of these Slave Camps is 67, which doesn't align to either  of those.

Actually, as I'm typing this report, I'm noticing that many building names don't align.  For instance, my planet has some buildings named "Research Stockade" and "Forced Labor Camp", but those building names are not shown in the Available Projects area.  I'm not sure what to make of these buildings yet, are they typos or something else?  This is about my 6th game though, and I find it confusing to say the least.

Side note: If I had access to a spreadsheet view, I could probably figure this out on my own using deduction. Since I don't, it's really difficult to reconcile since the building values are level 2 on the main board, but the right side of the screen shows level 1 values.  Frustrating.

I'd insert a picture here for reference, but haven't posted a lot and can't figure out how to do it yet (its asking for an image URL).  I'll try to add a picture later if I can, but hopefully what I describe above is self-explanitory.

I believe what you're referring to is just the buildings (improvements) upgrading automatically. In GCIII, you always have to build the most basic form of an improvement, and then you can upgrade it by researching improvement techs. This is most easily described in an example, so say you have researched tech to allow you to build (for sake of an example, this isn't actually in-game) "advanced" factories, which are more efficient than "improved" factories, which are further more efficient than "basic" factories. If you want to build a brand new "advanced" factory, you must first construct a "basic" factory. As soon as that factory is done, it will automatically start to be upgraded to and "improved" factory, and as soon as that one is done, it will automatically be upgraded to an "advanced" factory. So you can't just straight up build the more advanced versions of improvements - you have to always start with the most basic improvement. This is why more advanced improvements aren't listed in your available improvement projects.

I'm pretty sure this is what you're seeing. I didn't actually open up the game to see if this were some weird bug I haven't experienced. Hope this helps.
