Planet taxes

Simular to adjustying production one could also add a slidder for adjusting tax rate with the default being shat is used now for weekly income.

they eliminated the tax slider in favor of the wealth production on the production wheel

i would like to see it come back personally it made more sense

I liked the tax slider too. It gave me a single slider to work with to balance my budget. However, I keep many of my planets using different spending rates, so trying to adjust things globally will wreck many worlds. I have to adjust them 1 planet at a time until I get a balance. There are some good long term solutions, but some times you need something now, but don't want to worry about the trouble in getting it done.

I like the prod wheel.  It took a little time, but I have come around.  It is still a little funky have a social/military slider right under it, but it works.  The only thing I miss is the ability to nudge adjustments just one notch with a click on the end of the slider.  I keep trying to instinctively click on research/wealth/manufacturing, but they don't do anything.  Is that something possible?  Click on the three icons and move the prod wheel one notch in that direction?  I don't have the eye-hand coordination to do it manually.

End of erischild's quote

In terms of computer programming? Yes, that's something that's possible. In terms of features included in the game? Not as far as I am aware. I'd appreciate having it, as well, especially if it came with the ability to lock one of the three to its current level.

Why can't we have both...  tax at both a galaxy level and one at a world level.  The amount of tax you collect is then the "pie" from what you currently use...

Like the current production  screen you can lock out a world to a certain tax level

Please no. The economic model in the current game may not be realistic, bit it is elegant and easy to understand. Lets not add too many variables.
