Multiple Ship Targeting

One big issue I have with missile launchers:  They all shoot at the same thing.

I have a massive ship teaming with missile launchers.  I get attacked by 20 tiny ships.   The big ship will attack the little ships in order.

Switch to the real world.  The Apache can attack 16 different targets at the same time while tracking 128.

These are missiles, fire and forget has been a mainstay of them for decades now.

Even WWII didn't have to just shoot at one ship until it was destroyed.  Just about all of them could attack two targets with its big guns.  Though far less effective, each turret could operate with out fire control and attack a ship for every target.

I agree having multiple targeting would be excellent for usefulness, unwasted dps, and would make battles in the viewer much more interesting.

I posted in[0.70.5.0] Carriers are over powered thread that based on hull size target acquisition should increase based on hull size.  Looking at this I worded it poorly what I meant was actually number of targets to fire upon at one time.

tiny 1

small 1

medium 2

large 3

immense 5.

I don't think they could make it to high for processing purposes but this would go a long way to improve the situation.
